My favourite things

At the moment I'm mostly trying to not buy anything new, aside from essentials. This is partly to save money, and partly because I like going to second-hand shops and op-shops to see what things already in existence take my fancy.

But every so often I buy something new. And these two things above seized my eye because I found them so beautiful. They are four aqua resin beads (from the Bead Shop) and a ball of exquisite green Italian cotton (from Stitch 'n Time).

In particular, I loved the colours. I must be going through a green phase at the moment because I felt drawn to these two items. I'm not even sure what I will do with them at this stage. Just looking at them makes me happy!
