Workshops

Recycled jewellery workshops

simoneandginko runs recycled jewellery workshops around Melbourne to help you repurpose your old jewellery, heirlooms and op-shop finds into stylish and contemporary pieces of jewellery for you to wear or give as gifts.

The philosophy behind these workshops is to work with what we have, rather than constantly creating new things. Have you heard of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch? If so, you'll understand why it's great to take advantage of all the amazing things that are already out there. Working with what we have also inspires us in different ways. How can we build on an existing item and interpret it in a new way? This helps us be more creative.

Next recycled jewellery workshop:

There are plans afoot to start simoneandginko recycled jewellery workshops at a storefront in Richmond in the next couple of months. Watch this space to find out more!

Alternatively, contact me if you would like to host a recycled jewellery workshop, or to receive updates on upcoming workshops.
